It’s that sort of time when you get reflective before setting your resolutions for being your best self in 2024. Looking back, 2023 has been a great year at City WI. We’ve had some fascinating speakers who’ve given us; a crash course in Hieroglyphs, an insight into how our city tries to protect and increase biodiversity, and an understanding of what autism is like and how to get a diagnosis. We’ve also flexed our crafty muscles weaving some willow garden spinners, carved some lino for printing and hammered some copper pendants. And flexed some actual muscles by trying to master some hula hooping and danced to some afro beats.
As ever, I’ve loved chatting with, learning from, and always feeling supported by this wonderful group of women, roll on 2024 and plenty of new adventures!
